Melina Kanakaredes Melina Kanakaredes, an American actor, is famous for her portrayals of Doctor. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. Her work also garnered acclaim due to her breakthrough television debut role as Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. A few of her most memorable films includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film with Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created the Immortals) has been reported to be in production. Also, she is working on a new show that is titled Gods & Heroes.
